El cable tiene una construcción rellena de gel para evitar la migración de humedad en aplicaciones subterráneas y húmedas. Los conductores están trenzados en pares, separados por una cruceta central y cubiertos por una cubierta de polietileno (PE) resistente a los rayos UV y a la abrasión.
