La abrazadera de cable de bajada cumple con la función de sujetar a un muro y/o techumbre la bajada del cable del pararrayos y asi brindar una eficiente trayectoria sin curvaturas abruptas redirigiendo la corriente del rayo al electrodo de tierra física. 

Este accesorio se utiliza en sitios los cuales se dificulta la analización mediante tubería de PVC o galvanizado.
